John Benny and Éilís have brought their unique and friendly approach to Irish Traditional Music to John Benny's Pub. Among the great musicians and music that perform at our informal sessions, are singers such as Éilís, whose haunting, melodic voice is a direct connection to the traditional culture of a time past. At John Benny's, we infuse our sessions with music and song native to our peninsula. The words and notes of our music passed from generation to generation, father to daughter, mother to son, and in our pub, we offer visitors a glimpse at our rich heritage.




There are full details of times and styles of sessions given below. As well as instrumental Irish music and song, we have Irish set dancing, and a Folk-Blues session during the week. So, with Pints, Pies and plenty of traditional music and singing with an atmosphere all of its own, you'll have to experience it for yourself. And we look forward to welcoming you.
